Dance music royalty Greg Wilson is in the process of giving away edits on his soundcloud.
I think he’s adding a new one each week, usually in wav format. This edit, an extension of an early 70s disco hit, stood out to me. It originally appeared on GW’s Ruff Edits #4 release.
An interesting story lies with the original, too.
It was banned by the BBC, having reached the charts (remember them?), as the sighs and heavy breathing were deemed “too risqué for the British public”. Chakachas went on to achieve great success with the record in the US, where it reached the top ten and sold a million units.
